Pogorzelica, is a small town located in the Rewal commune, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is one of the most extraordinary seaside towns. Tourists can not only sunbathe on a wide sandy beach, but also enjoy the wonderful landscapes.
On the eastern side of Pogorzelica, we can watch the overgrowing Lake Konarzewo, and on the western side there is Lake Liwia Łuża. Liwia Łuża is a natural coastal water body of the Baltic Sea. The entire area of the water body and its edges are located in an ornithological reserve. Swimming in the lake is prohibited.
As befits a seaside resort, you will find fish and chips shops, restaurants and waffle stands here. At the same time, Pogorzelica is a phenomenal town for walks in the natural company of nature, where you can breathe in pristine clean air.
A must-see attraction in Pogorzelica is a visit and a ride on the only Narrow Gauge Railway in Europe. It was recently renovated, along with its entire infrastructure. It starts its journey in the morning from Gryfice and travels through the cities of Trzęsacz, Rewal, Śliwin, Niechorze, and Pogorzelica throughout the day.
It stops in beautiful places, and the steam engine and old-fashioned wagons will take holidaymakers back to the past. Having mentioned Trzęsacz earlier, it would be worth staying here and visiting the remains of the Gothic Church of St. Nicholas on the cliff, which fascinates with its history and legend. However, when the weather is not good and we want to enjoy water attractions, we can visit the swimming pool or the aqua park.
Here you will find both outdoor and indoor pools. Among the main attractions are: a brine pool, geysers, waterfalls, as well as jacuzzis and water massage stations. The youngest will be most pleased with the Water Jungle water attractions square, as well as two outdoor slides with a length of 60 and 130 m.
There are many different accommodation options, such as holiday homes, hotels, apartments and private accommodation.
All facilities are located in a beautiful pine forest covering the entire town.
More demanding holidaymakers will appreciate the modern and stylish interiors in apartments and hotels, but there is also no shortage of charming places for holidaymakers who appreciate the proximity of nature.
There is definitely accommodation here for everyone and for every budget.
